On the 16th and 17th of September 2017 I had the absolute pleasure of taking some photos at the wedding of two of my long-term fitness clients. I have worked with these gentleman for the past 5 years, helping them with their training, nutrition and health. Not only are they great clients but fantastic friends and two of the best men you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. It’s funny how my jobs overlap sometimes and not only that, but both gentleman share an incredible passion for travelling and the natural world so you can imagine just how well we get along!
So as you may have guessed, this was a gay wedding and the first ever gay wedding I had attended. This is something I’d really been looking forwards to for some time – you know it’s going to be decorated well, you know the boys are going to dress well for their big day, you know that all the guests will be looking incredible and you know the venues will be awesome.
So, onto the photography – here are a few snaps from the day. If you’d like to contact me in regards to booking a photographer for your own wedding then do drop me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll be more than happy to talk with you regarding what you would like for your special day!
The venue for their big day was the beautiful City Hall building in the heart of Cardiff City Centre that was built just after the turn of the 20th century. The detail to the building inside and out is spectacular and I can’t think of a better place to see these two gents tie the knot.
After the ceremony it was to the reception where the celebrations continued. The food, drinks, decorations and entertainment were all first class. From bagpiper players to magicians to singers, these guys know how to put on a party!
You wouldn’t believe me if I told you how much cake was brought to the party but I think the idea of having a cheese tower wedding cake to match the Scottish and Welsh theme of the wedding was a fantastic idea. Heres a shot of the wedding “cake”…
The food was glorious (I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many different cakes or cheeses in one place!), the drink was flowing and everyone had a fantastic time.
So, a special thank you to Mr Evans and Mr Aitken for having me along to what was a wonderful wedding. and all the very best for the future!
